§ 102-31. Zoning annexed lands.

(a)

Unless otherwise designated in the annexing ordinance, all lands annexed by the City shall be classified in the R-2 (Residential, medium) zoning district.

(b)

Annexation may be conditioned upon terms reasonably necessary to avoid any substantial burden on the economic, physical, environmental, and civil resources of the City, including without limitation the costs of annexation, costs of expansion of public infrastructure and utilities, costs of other public facilities, rights-of-way, and open spaces; and annexation may be conditioned upon terms reasonably necessary to protect present and planned uses of land.
