§ 2-7. Personnel authority of city administrator.

Except as otherwise provided by law, and except for his or her own job position, the city administrator shall have full power and responsibility concerning the employment, disciplining, and termination of employment of all non-elected officials and uniformed and non-uniformed employees of the city, including, but not limited to, heads of city departments, the fire chief, and the police chief, according to the budgeting of positions and levels of compensation established from time to time by the board of directors.
